The experience
The Despacho Offering to Pachamama, also known as a "payment to the earth", is a sacred ritual of the Andean cosmovision that honors Mother Earth, the Apus (sacred mountains) and the holy land. This act of reciprocity and gratitude is carried out in the company of masters of the Q'ero Nation, guardians of the ancestral traditions of the Andes.
The ceremony begins with the preparation of the offering, which includes symbolic elements such as coca leaves, flowers, seeds and other natural products that represent gratitude and petitions to Pachamama. As the offering is made, the master guides the ceremony with sacred songs and prayers.
Includes:
- Guidance and facilitation by a master or shaman of the Q'ero Nation.
- Preparation of the offering with sacred elements.
- Sacred songs and traditional prayers.
- Drink break: a selection of Andean herbal mates and flower infusions, available after the ritual.
Notes:
- Sessions are customizable to the group's needs.
- Bookings must be made in advance and payment completed before the ceremony.
- Agreed dates are non-changeable.
- Option to book an extra brunch or snacks table to enjoy before or after the ceremony, at additional cost and with advance booking.
- Option of coca leaf reading.
- Option of a healing session with a mesa.
- Bring comfortable clothing and a blanket for the ritual.
